About: North Lindsey College is an award-winning provider of further and higher education situated one mile from the centre of Scunthorpe. We are the largest provider of post-16 education and training in North Lincolnshire, offering a huge range of full-time, part-time and work based learning courses at a range of levels. Our learners benefit from excellent facilities plus friendly and vocationally experienced staff.With a significant amount of capital having been invested in the campus over recent years the College boasts some showcase facilities including: an auto-diagnostic centre, a soap manufacturing plant, an award winning 14-16 centre, a purpose-built fitness suite, operational hair and beauty salons, a commercial travel office and well-equipped workshops. A new building for the HE provision is also due to be under construction shortly.

Additional Information: The College enrichment package is delivered to all full-time post-16 learners providing a framework that offers increased breadth, choice and flexibility.During the academic year, learner enrichment comprises the following elements:Main Learning GoalTutorial/Support ProgrammeKey Skills DevelopmentAdditional StudiesPrevious activities have also included trips to Alton Towers, the Clothes Show, the Trafford Centre, and Crufts along with theatre trips, parties and more. All learners automatically become part of the Student Association upon enrolling, and are entitled to take part in any of the activities offered. Membership of the Students Association will also entitle you to discounts in some local shops, driving schools, etc...Fresher's fairs and activities are put on at the start of term to help you settle into College life and meet new friends.Join the Student Council and influence the Students Association activities.
