About: Positive Approach Academy for Hair (PAAH) was established in 1984. Since then it has become the leader in Hairdressing Work Based Provision for Scunthorpe North Lincolnshire.
We presently work with 30 salons and have some 70 to 80 learners who are working towards 3 main hairdressing aims:

14 - 16 year olds - Young Apprenticeship Diploma Level 2.

16 - 18 year olds - Apprenticeship in Hairdressing, City and Guilds Level II.

18 - 25 year olds - Advanced Apprenticeship in Hairdressing City and Guilds Level III.

Last year, Oswald Road based PAAH was named as one of the top trainingproviders in the country by the Adult Learning Inspectorate (ALI). Mr Sherlock the Cheif Inspectorr for ALI said "Positive Approach has demonstrated an EXTRAORDINARY COMMITTMENT to achieving the VERY HIGHEST STANDARDS OF QUALITY HAIRDRESSING TRAINING".
