North East Lincolnshire Careers Guidance Programme

 Overview

Students today face an exciting array of educational and vocational choices during their time at school and/or college. It can be difficult to know where to turn for advice and guidance.

We believe that every learner is entitled to good quality advice, and this programme will help ensure that all involved in guidance work have unlimited access to useful resources.

The content of these web pages has been drawn together by guidance experts with extensive experience of providing advice to young people. They have devised a series of lessons with appropriate resources which can be downloaded and used by staff, students and parents.

The programme is split into three stages – Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and 16+, and at each stage three elements are explored - Self Development, Career Exploration and Career Management. Within each element are three lesson plans with associated resources and Power Point presentations to lead you through the work. As the lessons are on-line you can recap at any time.
