Young People's Support Services
In North and North-East Lincolnshire there are many services available for young people in a range of settings, to ensure that information and support in respect of personal development needs can be obtained easily. These services are mainly provided by the Local Authorities in North and North-East Lincolnshire but are also supported by a number of national and local voluntary organisations.
Youth Service in North Lincolnshire
In North Lincolnshire the council's Youth Service works through partnerships with community organisations, young people and other agencies, in rural and urban communities. It provides services for young people between the ages of eight and 25-years-old, with an emphasis on those between 13 to 19 years.

Careers Advice & Guidance
Careers advice & guidance is provided to all young people aged 13 to 19 to help support them to make a smooth transition into adult and working life. Support can be extended to age 25 for those with additional needs.
Careers Advisers can help by offering impartial information, guidance and support on education, careers, training, employment and benefits. They can help with applying for vacancies, arranging interviews, CV's, applications forms and interview techniques.

There is also a national helpline service – Careers Information and Advice for Young People. It is available from 8.00am to 10.00pm, seven days a week.
