Course Summary

Becoming a Plastering Apprentice is a great opportunity for young people to "earn while you learn".

As the construction industry is growing within your local area there is a need to train young people to become the next generation of tradesperson.

You will work with your employer four days per week and attend your training provider for 1 day per week to gain knowledge and skills to assist you within the workplace.

Throughout this qualification you will cover all aspects of Plastering to include health & safety, understanding construction technology, applying render, dry lining, form sand & cement screeds, produce fibrous plaster and applying plaster to internal surfaces.

So if you are a practical learner, motivated by plastering and want to earn money while you learn then an apprenticeship in Plastering is for you.

Course Details

Throughout your apprenticeship you will also cover the following if applicable;

  • Functional Skills in Maths
  • Functional Skills in English
This standard requires EPA (End point assessment) upon completion.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

For the delivery of this apprenticeship you must be employed.

Training delivered within the workplace with the support of your employer.

Functional Skills will be delivered within the Orchard Hull building, 100 New Cleveland Street, Hull, HU8 7HE

Entry requirements

The minimum age requirement for this qualification is 16+; there are no further entry requirements to take this qualification. This means that you can undertake this qualification without any previous training or qualifications in this subject area.
