Course Summary

This course offers an excellent opportunity to gain a City and Guilds qualification in English and/or maths which are recognised by colleges and employers. This is a roll on/off course which can be started at any point during the year. There is a 3hrs per week per programme mandatory attendance requirement. Based on this you will expect to achieve within 6 months.

Course Details

You will firstly work through an initial assessment to assess your current level of skills.

The English course will cover reading and writing skills in addition to speaking and listening skills. These are 3 final end of programme assessments.

The maths course will cover and everyday mathematic skills. with a final assessment at the end of the course.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

We operate a flexible booking system which allows you to fit study around your other commitments. There is a 3hr per week per programme mandatory attendance requirement. Each study program will consist of learners working independently through computer and paper based activities with either an online or paper based assessment at the end.

Entry requirements

No formal entry requirements but you will complete an initial assessment and diagnostic to identify your current level of ability and which will dictate the level of programme enrolled onto.
