Entry Level Award Employability in Childcare (NOCN)

This course is for people who want to learn about working in childcare and caring for children.
It will give you basic knowledge and skills to help you move into training or work in this area.

You will study two NOCN units:
• Human Growth and Development – Learn how children grow and change from birth to adulthood.
• Caring for Your Child – Learn about meeting children’s basic needs, keeping them safe, healthy, and happy.

The course is:
• Practical – You will use real-life examples about looking after children.
• Supportive – Your tutor will guide you step by step.
• A good start – It can lead to further learning or work in childcare.

No previous qualifications are needed.

After the course, you will:
