Course Summary

The free distance learning Level 2 Principles of Business Administration course is aimed at those wanting to learn more about the skills and knowledge required to work in different environments in a business administration role. This course is suitable for anyone currently working in or aspiring to work in an administrative role.

Learn units such as providing administrative services, developing working relationships with colleagues and communication in a business environment.

Course Details

On the free distance learning Level 2 Principles of Business Administration course, you will learn the following units.

Unit 01: Principles of providing administrative services

Unit 02: Principles of business document production and information management

Unit 03: Understand communication in a business environment

Unit 04: Understand employer organisations

Unit 05: Understand how to develop working relationships with colleagues

Unit 06: Understand how to carry out business administration tasks

Unit 15: Know how to Publish, Integrate and Share Using Social Media

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Each candidate is required to give written responses to questions, which will be submitted to a qualified script marker to assess. These responses can either be handwritten in the assessment booklets or typed using electronic templates which are provided at induction. Candidates are issued with workbooks to assist with assessments.

You will be required to submit 3 written assessments. The first assessment will take 6 weeks to complete and the second and third assessments will each take 4 weeks to complete.

Entry requirements

Due to the nature and course delivery of distance learning we require all applicants to hold a minimum of English Literacy Level 1 or equivalent.

If you are between 19-23 years of age you must also have already achieved a full level 2 qualification (or higher) or 5 GCSE Grades A*-C/Grade 9-4.

We will require evidence of this in order to receive funding for you.
