Level 2 IT Qualification

This course is designed for people who have experience with using a computer. Learners will be confident using IT applications and acquire the skills neccessary for employment opportunities across various sectors.

This course consists of completing three modules. Learners will choose which IT related subjects they would like to study these include Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Desktop Publishing.

We appreciate that not everyone learns at the same pace therefore for this course learners will work through workbooks independently with tutors available to support when required. Learning is flexible as each learner will choose the time and days that they wish to study. Each learner must complete two sessions per week. Expected duration to complete this certificated course is 1 year though this is depedant on the skill of the learner therefore may be shorter.

Upon completion learners have the option to either complete more IT workbooks at the same level or advance to Level 3 IT course*

*The level 3 course is not funded and will therefore come at a cost to the learner. Please speak to us for more information if you wish to study at level 3.
