Course Summary
The free distance learning Level 2 Certificate in IT User Skills course is suitable for anyone who currently works with IT within their job role, or simply just want to improve their IT Skills.
The course is aimed at developing skills in Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Powerpoint and Excel. You will be encouraged to think how you can use IT in lots of different ways in everyday life.
Course Details
The following units are covered in the free distance learning Level 2 Certificate in IT User Skills course:
Unit 1: Using IT to increase productivity
Unit 2: IT software fundamentals
Unit 3: IT security for users
Unit 4: Presentation software
Unit 5: Spreadsheet software
Entry requirements
Due to the nature and course delivery of distance learning we require all applicants to hold a minimum of English Literacy Level 1 or equivalent.
If you are between 19-23 years of age you must also have already achieved a full level 2 qualification (or higher) or 5 GCSE Grades A*-C/Grade 9-4.
We will require evidence of this in order to receive funding for you.
