This course is suitable for anyone who wants to support colleagues with mental health problems. From individuals to managers this course will give you the skills and knowledge to help improve mental health wellbeing in a place of learning or work.

The following units are covered in free distance learning level 2 certificate in understanding Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the workplace course:

How will it be delivered and assessed?
Each candidate is required to give written responses to questions, which will be submitted to a qualified script marker to assess. These responses can either be handwritten in the assessment booklets or typed using electronic templates which are provided at induction. Candidates are issued with workbooks to assist with assessments.
You will be required to submit 1 assessments each taking 6 weeks to complete.
Entry requirements
Due to the nature and course delivery of distance learning we require all applicants to hold a minimum of English Literacy Level 1 or equivalent.
If you are between 19-23 years of age you must also have already achieved a full level 2 qualification (or higher) or 5 GCSE Grades A*-C/Grade 9-4.
We will require evidence of this in order to receive funding for you.
