If you’re a budding scientist, this is the course for you. Study key scientific ideas and refine your lab skills as you open up a variety of different career paths, including biomedical science, pharmacology, and law.

Course Details
This is the course for you if you want to study a qualification that builds your applied or practical skills alongside your A Levels or another Level 3 qualification. You’ll have the opportunity to apply what you learn to real-life contexts, such as researching the fundamentals of science and planning and performing laboratory investigations. Studying Applied Science will see you study the application of science through applied and practical learning, focusing on biology, chemistry, and physics, and you’ll gain valuable experience in managing the entire scientific process. You will take part in visits to local employers and universities, where you will witness how the science you learn in the classroom is applied in industry and have the chance to take part in worldwide trips, which will broaden your knowledge and understanding.
