Course Summary
The Level 3 in Agriculture is intended for those with a passion for working with crops, livestock and machinery. It is designed for those wanting primarily to work on farms, but also within other related land-based industries where an in-depth knowledge of various types of agricultural enterprises and machinery is required.
A range of pathways are available, dependent on your qualifications.
- One-year Extended Certificate
- One-year Foundation Diploma
- Two-year Diploma
- Two-year Extended Diploma.

- Agriculture business and income generation project

- Pig, dairy, sheep and beef production

- English and Maths, as required.
Entry requirements
Four GCSEs at grade 4 or C or equivalent, preferably including English and Maths, or a relevant BTEC Level 2 / First Diploma, plus one satisfactory reference.
