After learning the foundation of business and enterprise you’ll move onto the nitty-gritty of the law behind business, human resources and management skills and much more...
You will learn how to manage day-to-day challenges that come with setting up and running a business, including business planning and pitching, financial planning and implementation, future business growth and performance analysis.
Course Details
Expertise and knowledge in business disciplines and activities will open up the world to you. Business knowledge acts as the foundation of most industries and is integral to career choices from administration, management, right through to the likes of your favourite vloggers all of whom need business knowledge to do what they do.
During this course you will look at enterprise in the business world, finance, business planning, brand promotion and marketing and project management. Sales, online business and visual merchandising will also form a part of the course and, as you progress, the addition of accounting, law, human resources and management will add to your knowledge and employability. The course includes the study of business organisations, human resources, customer relations, financial forecasting, starting a small business and promoting and branding in retail business.

Entry requirements
Entry requirements for our courses depend on the specific requirements of each Programme of Study and an individual’s previous experience, which will all be discussed during the interview process. The following is a guide as to what you might be expected to achieve to gain entry on to a particular level of a course.
Minimum of 4 GCSEs grade 3 (previously D) or above including Math's and English language OR Minimum of 4 GCSEs grade 3 or above including Math's and English language and relevant subject qualification OR Minimum of Level 1 course in chosen subject at merit or above and English language and Math's at Level 1.
Your next steps...
Successful students may progress onto the next level in their chosen subject, into employment or an apprenticeship, or, after a level 3 qualification, to Higher Education at the University Centre Grimsby or other other University.
There is also a wide range of employment paths that await students that include: Accountant, Management Consultant, Social Media Manager, Financial Analyst, Administration or Human Resources.
