Early Years Education (NCFE | Level 2 | Double)

This qualification is designed to give you a strong understanding of the development and care of babies and young children from birth to seven years old, with a focus on the early years, covering 0-5 years. On successful completion of this course, this qualification meets the Department for Education's (DfE) Level 2 full and relevant criteria, for a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner role in the workforce.

This course is the perfect choice if you want to work within the Early Years industry but need to retake your Maths or English GCSE. Combining classroom learning with hands-on experience, the course is designed to meet the Department for Education's (DfE) requirements to work as a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner. You'll spend 250 hours on a work placement in an early years setting, such as a nursery or primary school, gaining invaluable work experience and insight into your chosen career. Alongside your placement, you'll study a range of units to develop your understanding of early years. After successfully completing this qualification, you will be qualified to work as a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner or further your studies and continue to our Level 3 Education and Early Years T Level or CTEC Health and Social Care course.
