Level 2 Health and Social Care

This one year course enables learners to understand and meet the needs of Health and Social Care employers from across the region. The course is set out with English and Maths resits (should you need them) and 105 hours placement in a Health and Social Care setting.

Our courses at the UTC incredibly high levels of success into successful and sustainable destinations, whether heading into apprenticeships or staying on into our level 3 courses and heading to University or higher apprenticeships.

This course, over 4 days, will give you all of the insights and knowledge into health and care settings, will follow the principles and values of Skills for Care and the NHS, and will have an option to undertake a further Higher Project Qualification

As with all of courses, you will have access to pastoral support, careers and employability dedicated staff and a placement officer.

Level 2 Health and Social Care underpins the T level Health with project based learning, employer visits, work experience and exceptional teaching in our Health and Social Care specialism.

Exams and coursework

No entry requirements, but do need to have the correct values to work in and succeed in a business that is patient focused.
