On this Level 3 Travel and Tourism course, you will explore the UK, European and global tourism industries. You'll investigate exciting locations such as London, New York and Dubai, whilst developing a further understanding of the importance of customer service in the industry. The course also examines how marketing is used in travel and tourism, relating to global destinations, together with insight into some of your favourite UK visitor attractions and internationally famous tourist hotspots. Your learning isn't just in the classroom; you'll get the chance to experience the industry first-hand through visits to inspiring places such as Alton Towers, York Christmas Market and Winter Wonderland. You'll also investigate the complexities of dark tourism, with the opportunity to take your studies further afield with a visit to Auschwitz.
