Uniformed Protective Services (BTEC | Level 3 | Double)

If you’re interested in progressing into a career in public services, this course will give you the employability skills and knowledge you need. You will study through a combination of both theory and practical elements, stepping outside of the classroom to take part in the many trips, visits, and practical activities linked to the police, NHS, fire, and armed services.

Studying the single course will give you an extensive insight into behaviour and discipline, teamwork, leadership, and communication in the Uniformed Protective Services, alongside an introduction to criminology, police powers, and the law. The double course will allow you to explore citizenship and diversity, physical preparation, health and wellbeing, government and protective services, and develop personal fitness programmes. A range of fun trips and inspiring guest speakers will bring your lessons to life, with past students enjoying activities like army assault courses and joining the Royal Marines as part of their open-day recruitment event.
