HETA is renowned as the leading engineering training provider in the Humber region. We work with over 350 companies in the region to provide engineering career opportunities via the apprenticeship route.

Why are you interested in Engineering? There are many opportunities in all trades of engineering.
Why did you choose HETA over college? I feel there are better opportunities at HETA. I like the mix of theory and practical work. HETA have great facilities to further my experience.
How much do you earn at your company? £555 a month.
How do you feel about earning while you’re learning? It feels better to know I have an income for doing something I enjoy.
Where do you see yourself in the future/ when completing your apprenticeship? I hope to earn a good income with even more opportunities to progress in my company.
Do you have any advice to people who want to pursue a career in engineering? Keep HETA as an option before looking at college.
