What is a Kitchen Assistant?
A Kitchen assistant helps to prepare and serve food in a kitchen of a café or restaurant.
In this job you might:
- Wash up.
- Clean surfaces.
- Prepare food, chop vegetables etc.
You need to be able to:
- Work with others as part of a team.
- Follow instructions.
- Complete some tasks over and over.
The workplace and what it might be like:
