Cambridge Park Academy 6th Form offers a curriculum which builds on the skills and knowledge that you have been taught during your time in school. We aim to prepare you for the next stage in your life, whether that is employment, further education or supported living within the community.

CPO - Creating Positive Opportunity
CPO offer a range of training opportunities for young people aged 16 to 18 including bespoke learning for those with an EHCP.

Franklin College
At Franklin College we have experience in supporting students with a wide range of physical disabilities and learning difficulties. Students with an EHCP will be invited to meet with us prior to commencing your studies to plan appropriate support.
The Learning Support team will assist in preparing you for your next steps and we have strong links with the support departments at many Universities. We can also provide support with developing independent living skills, through our own support or links with local agencies.

Grimsby institute
At Grimsby institute we offer a Foundations programme with small group sizes and support which is focused on preparation for your future. The Foundations programme will develop and improve your independence skills, life skills, travel training, communication, teamwork, self-management and personal care.
In the second year of the programme you will experience different pathways including media, health and social care, performing arts, automotive, hospitality, childcare and more and have the opportunity to gain qualifications.
Following two years of the Foundations programmes, you can choose other courses or continue onto the supported internship programme.

Learning4Life-Gy
Learning4Life-Gy provide a caring and nurturing environment for all our students and offer full time school programmes for students with an EHCP in years 9, 10 and 11 alongside a range of post-16 study programmes.
We also work in collaboration with Humberside Police and North East Lincolnshire Council to offer Supported Internships for 18 to 24 year olds.

Linkage
At Linkage we offer a specialist learning experience to people aged 16 to 25 and as a registered charity provide a high standard of care, specialist further education and employment services to enable people with learning disabilities to realise their full potential.
Apprenticeships involve working and studying at the same time, whilst being paid a wage. Most apprenticeships need GCSEs grades 4 to 9.

Care Plus Group and their Supported Employment team offer a flexible service for people with health conditions, learning or physical disabilities and/or neurodiverse conditions.
Following an initial meeting and assessment with an experienced team member, we will work together to decide on the best pathway for you which could include one of the following:
- Paid opportunities
- Voluntary work placements
- Supported Internships

Supported Employment - Care Plus Group
Supported employment is a flexible service for people with health conditions, learning or physical disabilities and/or neurodiverse conditions.
A Supported Internship is a study programme that includes on-the-job training and works well for people with learning disabilities. An internship helps you to achieve your aspirations and offers a pathway to paid employment.
There are many benefits such as:
- developing work skills
- building confidence
- forming relationships at work
- interacting with members of the public
- contributing to the local community
In North East Lincolnshire we have two programmes to choose from:
- at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital
- a joint programme between Humberside Police and North East Lincolnshire Council
The programme lasts for one year, working Monday to Friday and you will complete three different rotations at the host business.
You can apply for a Supported Internship if:
- You want to gain experience to be able to apply for a job
- You have the desire to achieve employment of at least 16 hours per week
- You are aged between 18 and 24
- You have and Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
