This qualification is for people considering career in Adult Social care. Units covered include Principles of Communication Principles of Personal development Safeguarding and Protection Diversity and Equality Inclusion Duty of Care and role of Social Care Worker Person centred approach.

This course is delivered as a distance learning course.

There are no specific prior qualifications needed but a good standard of written English is required.

You will develop the main knowledge and skills required to progress into more advanced qualifications and to finally progress into work. The course is assessed through completing a portfolio of evidence.
