Childcare Early Years Practitioner (NCFE | Level 2 | Double)

This qualification is designed to provide you with the knowledge and understanding of babies and young children from birth to 7 years of age, with applied knowledge in the early years covering 0-5 years. On completion of this course, the qualification content meets the Department for Education’s (DfE) Level 2 full and relevant criteria for a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner role in the workforce.

This course is the perfect choice if you want to work within the Early Years industry but need to retake your Maths or English. You will combine classroom learning with hands-on experience. Designed to meet the Department for Education’s (DfE) requirements to work as a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner, you’ll spend 250 hours on a work placement in an early years setting such as a nursery or primary school, gaining invaluable work experience and insight into your chosen career, while studying a variety of units to develop your theoretical knowledge of early years. After successfully completing this qualification, you will be qualified to work as a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner or further your studies and continue to our Level 3 Education and Early Years T Level or CTEC Health and Social Care course.
