Course Details
Throughout this course, you will focus on developing the skills and knowledge needed for a variety of incredible careers, from the airline and hospitality industries to tourist attractions and event organisation, to name a few. You’ll explore the factors impacting tourism, investigate global travel, and create marketing campaigns for travel brands. Your learning will go beyond the classroom with inspiring visits to places such as Alton Towers, York Christmas Market, and Winter Wonderland, and you’ll also have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of dark tourism with a visit to Auschwitz.At Level 2, you’ll study Travel & Tourism alongside GCSE English and/or GCSE Maths. After successfully completing Level 2 and your GCSEs, you could progress to the Level 3 course alongside Business Studies, Economics, Sociology, Digital Film and TV Production, and more.
