Course Details

During A Level Classical Civilisation, you’ll explore the World of the Hero through epic stories of adventure and mythology in Homer's Odyssey and Virgil's Aeneid, examine the image and propaganda of the Roman emperor Augustus, and consider the core beliefs, ideas and mythology in ancient Greek religion. Bring the classical world to life with an unforgettable trip to either Rome or Athens and develop your skills through Personal and Professional Development programmes, such as Debate Club and Journalism Club.
