Course Details

Studying A Level Economics will see you discover how external shocks and global events impact firms, consumers, and employees and how the government intervenes. As well as an introduction to markets and market failure, you’ll gain an understanding of the UK economy, business behaviour, and the labour market, and examine economic matters from a global perspective. Additionally, you’ll take part in trips to London’s Financial District, home to the headquarters of many banks and corporations, and visit universities and employers, all helping to develop your knowledge and insight into the many diverse and exciting careers in economics.
