Sport and Physical Activity

Equivalent to 3 A Levels, this qualification is designed for students who want to go on to higher level studies with the opportunity to progress towards professional football. It will give you the skills, knowledge and an understanding of the sport and physical activity sector. You can expect to undertake up to 10 hours of football training per week, plus match days, supported by 10 hours? classroom-based training per week. Primarily assessed through coursework with some practical assessments.

- Weekly Strength & Conditioning sessions - Weekly Player & Team Analysis sessions - Play against all Professional clubs including Doncaster Rovers, Sheffield Utd, Leeds, Barnsley, Bradford and Huddersfield - Anatomy and physiology - Sport as a business - Training sessions led by UEFA qualified coaches - Opportunities to gain work experience within a Professional football club - Participate in National Citizen Service (NCS) - Volunteer experience throughout studies with the local community - Employability skills
