A-Levels in Science allow students to study and investigate topics studied at GCSE in significantly more depth. Chemistry provides an insight into matter, reactions, and the building blocks of life. The department is committed to supporting all students to achieve their potential and offers regular workshops. We also have an excellently resourced astronomy club and drone club for enrichment of the students' experience of science outside the classroom.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
Three examinaions taken at the end of Year 13 and an internally assessed practical endorsement
Entry requirements
Four GCSEs at grade 6 or above
A grade 5 or higher in GCSE English
A grade 6 or higher in GCSE Mathematics
A minimum of a grade 6 at GCSE in Chemistry
