Football Performance Programme

The Football Performance Programme (FPP) aims to provide

talented young players with the opportunity to continue their

development as footballers in a full-time elite environment.

This unique programme allows young footballers to enhance

their education and employment prospects within the football

and sport industry while receiving professional football

training and competing in the English Colleges football league.

The FPP offers access to top-tier football training typically

available only at professional clubs. The programme is designed

to complement, not replace, players’ existing club commitments.

The focus is solely on football development through structured

training sessions, performance analysis, and competitive fixtures.

What will I learn?

• Professional Training Techniques: Receive UEFA ‘A’

standard training and game management.

• Football Training: Participate in 8 hours per week of

intensive football training.

• Strength & Conditioning: Engage in 2 hours per week of

football-specific strength and conditioning.

• Individual Training Plans: Develop personalised training

plans tailored to individual needs.

• Performance Analysis: Utilise GPS and video feedback to

improve performance.

• Competitive Play: Compete in English Colleges fixtures for

both the 1st Team and Development Team.

• Skill Development: Enhance skills through in-house head-

tennis and 5-a-side tournaments.

• Personal Reviews: Benefit from 1-2-1 football reviews and

development plans.
