Hair and Media Make Up Level 3

This course will give you the skills in hairdressing as well as beauty to give you the option of further study or leading to a career in TV, film and theatre.

Whilst on the course you'll go out into real work environments including animal sanctuaries, pet shops, grooming parlours, animal charities and veterinary practices where you will gain invaluable experience. Previous activities have included: residentials on a working farm in Yorkshire, days working as a zookeeper at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park,

When you do a vocational qualification you will learn in a workshop, salon or studio as appropriate for your subject and you will usually be assessed through practical assessments, projects, assignments and oral and written questions. There may be exams in some subjects and your tutor will prepare you for these.

Entry requirements for our courses depend on the specific requirements of each Programme of Study and an individual’s previous experience, which will all be discussed during the interview process.
The following is a guide as to what you might be expected to achieve to gain entry on to a particular level of a course

4 GCSEs grade 3 or above, or equivalent, including Math's and English Language.
