Course Details
Designed for creative and ambitious students, the course blends performance and production skills with essential knowledge of the wider music industry.
Learn in our fully equipped music suites, digital audio workstations and industry-standard production software like Logic Pro X and Ableton and learn how to write, perform, produce and market music. Whether you want to be in the spotlight or behind the scenes, this course opens the door to a wide range of roles in today’s music and creative industries.
Our studios are complete with powerful Apple Mac technology, complemented with the latest digital work surfaces. We believe our recording studios really set us apart and are the best for recording in the local area. Our four fully-equipped rehearsal spaces will allow you to perform with like-minded musicians, complemented by a full backline of Tama drums, Marshall, Orange and Blackstar amplification and full vocal PA to ensure your rehearsal is as professional as possible.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
When you do a vocational qualification you will learn in a workshop, salon or studio as appropriate for your subject and you will usually be assessed through practical assessments, projects, assignments and oral and written questions. There may be exams in some subjects and your tutor will prepare you for these.
Entry requirements
Level 3 – 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Maths
Admission subject to successful audition
