Course Summary
A-level Psychology explores a variety of topics in order to better understand human behaviour. In year one, you will study topics including social influence, memory, attachment, clinical psychology and mental health. In year two, you will study topics including forensics, relationships and eating behaviour. Your mathematical skills will be tested throughout your studies and you will develop skills of critical analysis, independent thinking and research.

How will it be delivered and assessed?
Three exams of two hours each.
Paper 1 - Introductory Topics in Psychology (33%)
Paper 2 - Psychology in Context (33%)
Paper 3 - Issues and Options in Psychology (33%)
Entry requirements
Our entry requirements are as follows:
• 5 x GCSEs at minimum Grade 4
• GCSE Grade 4 in English and Mathematics
• GCSE Grade 5 in an academically relevant qualification to the chosen A-level subject
